SAP Integration with Concur Solutions (ICS)

SAP ICS is the native integration between SAP and SAP Concur. It allows the two systems to communicate directly with each other, eliminating the need build, encrypt, and transmit data files between the systems, or maintain a third-party middleware system./p>

SAP ICS includes tools to help make sure your Master Data, such as cost objects and employee profiles, is automatically moved from SAP to SAP Concur and maintained going forward, and your Transactional Data, such as fully approved expense reports, is automatically moved from SAP Concur to SAP.

The training consists of four individual courses, each focusing on a different area of SAP ICS and its implementation. The courses build on each other, so it is recommended that you take all four in sequence.

Note: SAP ICS is only available for the Professional Edition of SAP Concur.

Overview of SAP ICS

This introductory course introduces you to the basics of SAP ICS. By completing it, you will learn some foundational information about the SAP ERP, the challenges of integration without SAP ICS, the benefits of integration with SAP ICS, and how SAP ICS differs based on what version of the SAP ERP your company is using.

 

Recommended SAP Concur Configurations

This course steps you through the details of how your SAP Concur site should be configured to take full advantage of SAP ICS. By completing it, you will learn the recommended configurations for integrating your Master Data and Transactional Data, as well as Delta Posting. Anytime you are reviewing or updating your SAP Concur configuration, it is recommended to have assistance from SAP Concur resources to ensure everything is configured properly.

 

SAP ICS Mapping Document

This course steps you through the details of the Mapping Document used by the SAP Concur implementation team to capture and log key elements related to your SAP ICS implementation. By completing it, you will learn what data is captured by you and the SAP Concur team to ensure a successful SAP ICS implementation.

 

Using the SAP ICS Configuration Wizards

This course steps you through the details of using the SAP ICS Configuration Wizards to set up and run your data integrations. By completing it, you will learn how to create the base connection between the two systems, and then how to integrate your cost objects, employees, expense reports, and payroll documents.
